Express Service takes about an hour or less, with or without an appointment.
A Service B may take longer than 60 minutes, so plan it as a morning.
Express Service includes our 37-point inspection.
Pickup and delivery are available when you would rather not come in.
If the work grows past what you booked, your service advisor talks to you before doing it.
“As expected, my service appointment went very smoothly from scheduling the appointment to the actual appointment itself. My service advisor Keith was very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional, my conversation regarding the requirements of the service were explained in detail with no surprises during the service. The work was completed on time, and the car was returned washed. I would like to thank Keith and the staff at Mercedes South Orlando for their attention to detail and for making the afternoon at the dealership a pleasant experience.”Steve Leitch, 5-star Google review
Can I have a loaner?
Yes, when you are a VIP customer and the repair takes longer than three hours.
VIP means you bought your Mercedes-Benz here and it is still under warranty.
The loaner is for drivers over 21, with a valid driver's license, an insurance card and a major credit card.
If a loaner does not apply, we offer a rental.
Say so when you book, and we confirm one for your date.

“We moved from Pennsylvania to Florida about 5 years ago. We feel very fortunate to have found Mercedes Benz of South Orlando. Everyone there treats you like family. It's a very comfortable place to go to for service. I do not take my Mercedes anywhere else. And this is definitely due to how great Viktor is. He never recommends any service to my car unless it is definitely needed. And Viktor is always upfront with cost of work to be done.”Linda Butler, 5-star Google review

“I would like to say a big thank you to Victor Kazakov, our Service Advisor, at MBSO. Victor has demonstrated a high standard of customer service. Victor represents the Mercedes Benz motto "The best or nothing"! My AMG GLE 63 needed a new driver's side door window master switch. It was done within the same day. They even send you a video update straight from the mechanic that did the work. Javier Torres (the mechanic) did an awesome job, then washed the car thereafter. Thanks Victor and Javier, YOU'RE THE BEST! 👍😊”Jose Fabre, 5-star Google review

A loaner, a timely repair and a video

It’s a very nerve wracking situation when your car breaks down but the Mercedes team really made me feel better from giving me a loaner car to fixing everything in a timely manner and even offering delivery service to my house! They even sent me a video explaining everything that was fixed. THANK YOU ANDY AND MERCEDES TEAM :) after this experience I’m 100% extending my warranty!”stephany mania, 5-star Google review
A scheduled service at 20,000 miles

What service does your Mercedes-Benz need in Orlando?
1. What is due on your Mercedes-Benz at your mileage?
Your mileage
Your visit
What it means for your Mercedes-Benz
10,000 miles or 1 year
Service A
The lighter visit, and the first one due
20,000 miles or 1 year after Service A
Service B
The fuller visit, with a brake fluid exchange
30,000 then 40,000 miles
Service A, then Service B
The same two lists again; brake fluid again on the B
50,000 then 60,000 miles
Service A, then Service B
The 4-year, 50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty ends
70,000 to 100,000 miles
Service A and B, alternating
Each one approximately every 20,000 miles or 2 years
Fewer than 10,000 miles a year
Whichever comes first
A garage-kept car still needs its yearly service
Past the mileage for a service
The one that is due
Then anything time based, such as brake fluid
Service A is the lighter visit and Service B the fuller one, and they alternate every 10,000 miles or so. Your vehicle keeps its own count, and the maintenance counter in the display is the one to go by.
Time counts as well as mileage. A Mercedes-Benz driven 6,000 miles a year around Orlando still has its yearly visit. Bring the VIN, and we read the schedule for your vehicle.
2. What do Service A and Service B include?
The service
What is replaced
What is checked
Service A
Mercedes-Benz motor oil and the oil filter
Fluids and tire pressures corrected, brakes inspected, counter reset
Service B
Oil, oil filter, cabin dust and combination filter, brake fluid
Every Service A check, and the counter reset
The difference looks small on paper, and you feel it in the cabin. The cabin filter is what your air conditioning breathes through, and Orlando stays humid most of the year.
Brake fluid is exchanged on every Service B, which falls by time as well as mileage. Anything beyond these two lists is something we find, and your service advisor talks it through with you before any of it is done.
3. What is covered, what is wear and what is maintenance?
What needs attention
How it is covered
What it means for you
Service A and Service B
Scheduled maintenance
On the owner's side, which keeps warranty questions simple
Covered repairs on a new car
New Vehicle Limited Warranty
4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first
Covered repairs on a certified car
Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty
1 year, unlimited miles, after the new-vehicle warranty
The same, after the certified year
CPO Extended Limited Warranty
Up to 2 more years, unlimited miles, if you choose it
Warranty covers a defect in material or workmanship. Wear covers a part that did its job and reached the end of it. Maintenance is the visit you booked. Keeping the three apart is how a service visit stays clear.
It is most important on a certified Mercedes-Benz, because that coverage comes on top of the original warranty. We recommend keeping every service receipt, because evidence of the scheduled servicing is asked for when you request warranty work. A complete file keeps any claim simple.
4. How does your service record protect your warranty?
Your factory warranty stays in effect when the scheduled maintenance is done on time and recorded, and you keep the receipts that show it.
We service your vehicle with factory diagnostics, technicians trained on Mercedes-Benz and Genuine Mercedes-Benz parts. On every warranty repair, you receive a copy of the Repair Order for your records. A complete file answers any question later.
5. What needs our shop, and what can be quick?

It comes down to tools and access. A job that needs the factory system, factory parts or an open campaign comes to us. Routine work goes through Express Service and takes about an hour.
When a vehicle newly out of warranty shows an intermittent fault, our technicians have access to specialized diagnostic equipment designed specifically for Mercedes-Benz automobiles.
6. How long is your Mercedes-Benz with us?

Loaners go to VIP customers on repairs over three hours, and otherwise we offer a rental.
7. How long is an EQ battery covered?
For your electric Mercedes-Benz
What applies
What it means for you
Battery: EQE, EQS, EQE SUV, EQS SUV
10 years or 155,000 miles
Whichever comes first
Battery: EQB, CLA250, CLA350, G580
8 years or 100,000 miles
Whichever comes first
Two-year EV service package
Available to buy with all-electric models
Trained technicians and Genuine Mercedes-Benz parts
Cabin filters
Dust and activated charcoal filters changed
What the cabin breathes, in Florida humidity
Brake fluid and wiper blades
Both changed in the package
Both on the Mercedes-Benz EV service list
Multi-point inspection
Included in the package
Carried out by trained technicians
A plug-in hybrid
Both sides apply
Its gas engine still calls for Service A and B
Mobile service
On the Mercedes-Benz mobile list
Whether it reaches your driveway depends on the job
An electric Mercedes-Benz needs less servicing, though filters, brake fluid, wipers and an inspection still come up on a schedule. Mercedes-Benz sells a two-year package that covers exactly those items.
The high-voltage battery carries the longest coverage on the vehicle by a wide margin. If you drive a plug-in hybrid, you have both a gas engine and a high-voltage battery to look after. With the VIN, we confirm what yours calls for.
8. When do brakes need doing?
What you notice
What it points to
What it means for you
Nothing at all
The normal case
Pads and discs read at every Service A and B
A red brake warning lamp while driving
Brake force boosting, or low brake fluid
Read the display message and have it checked promptly
A pedal that feels longer than it did
Fluid or pads
Fluid exchanged on Service B, levels checked on both
Worn pads and discs
Normal wear
Replaced through Express Service
Brakes are among the easiest items to plan for. Because a brake component inspection is on both the A and the B list, you learn where your pads stand at every scheduled visit.
Keeping to the scheduled visits also guards against premature wear, which comes when service due dates are missed.
9. What does Florida heat do to your tire pressure?
What affects your tires
What happens
What to do
Air temperature
About 1 PSI more for every 10-degree rise
Check them cold, before you drive
A heat wave
Can rise 5 PSI, by AAA's figure
Check each tire and the spare before a hot drive
Overinflation
Premature wear; traction and performance can suffer
Let the extra air out, then check again cold
Underinflation
Reported by your tire pressure monitor
Checked and corrected at every Service A and B
Tread and wear
Inspected by trained dealership personnel
Rotation or replacement through Express Service
Your tires read high after an hour on the interstate in August, so we recommend setting them in the morning, before the drive.
A pressure light that appears on a cool morning and clears by lunchtime is the temperature changing the pressure. We are glad to look at it.
10. What does a slow crank on a hot morning mean?
What you notice
What it points to
What it means for you
A slow crank on a hot morning
A battery to test
A test at your next visit
Electrics behaving strangely
A battery test, before anything else
Testing and replacement are part of our battery service
Nothing yet, on a three-year-old battery
The age when testing pays off
AAA: three to five years, shorter in heat
A no-start, with little warning
Heat, the number one cause of battery failure
AAA: heat speeds fluid loss and oxidation
A test that says it is due
Replacement through Express Service
About an hour
Summer here does not let up long enough to give a battery a rest.
Most batteries run three to five years. Once yours is in that window, a battery test shows where it stands, well ahead of a morning it will not start.
11. What does Central Florida do to your vehicle?
Florida conditions
What they wear on
What it means for you
Heat, most of the year
Air conditioning
Hard duty most of the year; if it cools less, schedule a check
Afternoon storms
Wipers, and anything in standing water
After deep water on I-4 or the 408, we look underneath
Lovebug season
Paint and the windshield
About four weeks, twice a year; the harm comes from leaving them
Hurricane season, June 1 through November 30
Everything at once
A battery test, good wiper blades, real tread depth, a full tank
A battery gives you fewer years here than in a cooler state. Air conditioning running most of the year works harder than it would with a real winter.
12. What sets the cost of a visit?
What sets the price
How it changes the total
What it means for you
The service due
Service B costs more than A
The B list adds a cabin filter and brake fluid
Your model and engine
Varies by model
Intervals are set for your vehicle's year and model
What the inspection finds
Adds to it
Tires, wipers, brakes or the battery, added on top
Your warranty
A covered repair is billed to the warranty
Maintenance stays on the owner's side
A service plan
Fixed in advance
Mercedes-Benz Prepaid Maintenance, bought up front, covers scheduled work
Timing
Kept simple on schedule
On-time service guards against premature wear
How you pay
A 3% convenience fee on credit card payments
Tell us how you would like to pay when you schedule
Your estimate
Explained before any added work
Nothing outside your appointment proceeds before we talk to you
We give you the things that move the price instead of a range. Two GLC 300s of the same model year can need very different visits, depending on how they were driven and what the last inspection flagged.
What changes the number most is timing. Missing a service due date brings premature wear, and timing is in your hands.
13. Is there an open recall on your VIN?
What you need
Where to find it
What it tells you
A federal check
The NHTSA recall search, by VIN
Every make, not only Mercedes-Benz
The Mercedes-Benz record
Mercedes-Benz recall information
Current and previous recalls on your vehicle
Your VIN
17 digits
The official NHTSA website shows where to find it
Recall work at your address
On the Mercedes-Benz mobile list
Depends on the job; tell us when you schedule
The Takata airbag recall
Replacement parts
Installed by your dealer
If you bought pre-owned or have moved, run the VIN, and there is no need to wait for the mail. The lookup shows current and previous recalls, and you can run it whenever you like.
This work is carried out under the manufacturer's recall campaign. Bring the letter if you have it, or the VIN if you do not.

Explaining what the car needs before the work starts
“Great experience working with Amir during my GLE 350 service at Mercedes-Benz of South Orlando. He clearly explained all options and never pushed unnecessary extras—very professional and transparent.”Mohammad Ahmad, 5-star Google review
Pickup and delivery, with the loaner brought to the door
“I want to commend Raul, my advisor at the Mercedes-Benz, South Orlando dealership, for the outstanding service he provided. His communication was excellent from beginning to end, and he made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I was thoroughly satisfied with the pickup and delivery of my vehicle, and having a loaner car delivered as well was truly appreciated. Raul demonstrated professionalism, care, and attention to detail throughout the experience. This level of customer service was exceptional, and I am very grateful for such a positive experience.”Beverly Faison, 5-star Google review
Arriving on a tow truck with no appointment
“I was traveling on I-4 East when I ran over something, causing my back tire to quickly deflate. I looked at Google maps and saw this was the closest Mercedes Dealership. I asked AAA to tow me there and upon arrival I was instantly greeted and welcomed by a Mercedes team member. He was incredibly friendly, understanding, & immediately began looking to see if they had a matching replacement tire in stock so I could get back on the road as quickly as possible. Luckily they had one left! They took my vehicle back for service and offered a complementary car wash. I am so grateful for their willingness to help me and take care of my service needs!”Olivia DeArment, 5-star Google review
Your questions, answered
Service A and Service B
My car is asking for Service B and I only had it in six months ago. Why?
Service B runs on time as well as mileage. It falls at approximately 20,000 miles or one-year after the previous service, whichever comes first. So a low-mileage year still brings it due.
I have skipped a service. What happens now?
We pick it up from where it is. We read the counter and the history against your VIN and do the service that is due. Then we catch up anything time based, such as the brake fluid.
Does the maintenance counter reset itself after a service?
We reset it for you. Resetting the counter is a line item in both A and B.
How do I know whether my next visit is an A or a B?
Your display counts it down. Service A falls at about 10,000 miles and Service B at about 20,000, and then they trade places every 10,000. Send us the VIN, and we confirm which one is next.
When are my spark plugs, transmission service or coolant due?
The schedule for those comes from the VIN, so you get the figure that applies to your own Mercedes-Benz. Send us the VIN, and we confirm each one.
Warranty, recalls and coverage
How do I find out whether my car has an open recall?
Your VIN answers it. The NHTSA recall search covers every make. You can also look up recall information from the manufacturer or from us with the 17-digit VIN.
Is recall work treated like an ordinary repair?
No. It is carried out under the manufacturer's recall campaign. Bring the letter if you have one. Without the letter, the VIN is enough.
Are brake pads and discs covered by the certified warranty?
Certified coverage reaches the engine and powertrain, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical and climate control. Discs and pads are wear items, planned as maintenance.
Time, loaners and getting around
I work late. When can I pick up my vehicle?
Our service department is open until 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Can mobile service do a Service A at my office?
Yes. Service A and Service B are on our Mobile Service list, along with inspections, wipers, filters, most bulbs and certain recalls. When you schedule, we confirm whether your vehicle and address qualify.
How much of my day should I set aside for a Service B?
A Service B needs more time than an A, and it may take longer than 60 minutes. Anything the inspection turns up adds to that. We confirm the time when you schedule.
My van is my income. How do I keep it out of the shop?
We service eligible Sprinter and Metris vans and other business vehicles. Select routine work can be done through Mobile Service while your van stays on the job. More involved repairs are scheduled at our service center.
Electric and plug-in
Does an electric Mercedes still need brake fluid?
Yes. A brake fluid change is part of the two-year package Mercedes-Benz offers for all-electric vehicles. The package also covers the dust filter, the activated charcoal filter, wipers and a multi-point inspection.
How long is the high-voltage battery covered?
The EQE, EQS, EQE SUV and EQS SUV carry ten years or 155,000 miles, whichever comes first. The EQB, CLA250, CLA350 and G580 are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
My GLE is the plug-in hybrid. Which schedule applies?
It has a combustion engine, so Service A and Service B still come due on the usual pattern. The high-voltage side carries its own coverage. Send us the VIN, and we will confirm what yours calls for.
Florida and your vehicle
My battery is two years old and needs replacing. Is that early?
In Central Florida it is common, because heat shortens battery life more than anything else. Battery testing and replacement are part of our service.
The air conditioning still cools, but not the way it did. Worth booking?
Yes, and we recommend booking it before August. A system running most of the year works far harder than one in a state with a real winter. We are glad to check a gradual drop.
I drove through standing water on the 408. What should I have checked?
Tell us how deep it was and how fast you were going, then let us look underneath. Water gets into places you cannot see from the driver's seat, and the check is a single appointment.
Will lovebugs damage the paint?
An early wash keeps your paint clear of them. Lovebug generations last about four weeks and come twice a year, and the harm comes from leaving them baked onto warm paint.
What is worth doing to the car before a storm?
The Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. The list is short: a battery test, wipers that clear the glass, tires with real tread and a full tank. Wiper blades, tires and a battery are all on the Express Service list.
Your warranty and record
Does the scheduled service keep my warranty in effect?
Your factory warranty stays in effect when the scheduled maintenance is done on time and recorded, and you keep the receipts that show it.
What does servicing here add?
Our technicians are trained on Mercedes-Benz specifically, and we use Genuine Mercedes-Benz parts engineered for your vehicle. The receipts from every visit build the file that passes to the next owner the day you sell.
What comes to our service department?
Warranty repairs, recalls, diagnostics, software updates and EQ service all come to us. Anything that needs a lift or advanced diagnostic equipment is done in our service bays. Routine work is welcome here too, through Express Service in about an hour.
Brakes, tires and battery
How will I know my brake pads need replacing?
We tell you at your scheduled visits, because a brake component inspection is part of every Service A and Service B. Worn pads and discs are replaced through Express Service.
Does a brake warning light mean I need pads immediately?
Not necessarily pads. When the red brake warning lamp lights while you drive, it can mean the brake force boosting is malfunctioning or the brake fluid level is low. Read the message on the driver display and have it checked promptly.
My tire pressure light came on in the morning and cleared by lunchtime. Why?
Temperature is the cause. Pressure rises about 1 PSI for every 10-degree rise, so a tire reading low on a cool morning can read normal by the afternoon. Check when the tires are cold, and we are glad to look if it keeps happening.
Should I let air out of my tires during a heat wave?
Only when they read high while cold. Pressure may increase by 5 PSI in a heat wave. Over-inflation causes premature tire wear and can affect traction. So set them by the cold reading, spare included.
How long should a battery last here?
Most batteries have a three to five-year service life, and Florida heat brings yours toward the shorter end. Once yours is in that window, a battery test here shows where it stands, well ahead of any morning it might not start.
People also ask
What is Mercedes Service A and Service B?
They are the two alternating scheduled services on a Mercedes-Benz. Service A covers motor oil and oil filter replacement, and fluid level checks and corrections. It also covers a tire inflation check and correction, a brake component inspection and a maintenance counter reset. Service B adds a cabin dust and combination filter replacement and a brake fluid exchange.
How often does a Mercedes-Benz need to be serviced?
Service A falls at approximately 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, then approximately every 20,000 miles or two years. Service B falls at approximately 20,000 miles or one-year after the previous service. In practice they alternate every 10,000 miles.
How long does Mercedes Service B take?
Service B takes longer than Service A, and it may take longer than 60 minutes. Its list adds a cabin filter replacement and a brake fluid exchange. Anything the inspection turns up adds to that.
Is Mercedes-Benz Mobile Service available in Orlando?
Yes. Our Mobile Service can bring routine maintenance to your home, workplace or another approved location around Orlando, depending on the vehicle, the job and technician availability.
How do I check my Mercedes-Benz for a recall?
Search by Vehicle Identification Number on the NHTSA recall lookup, or check the Mercedes-Benz recall information page, which shows current and previous recalls for your vehicle.
How long is the battery warranty on a Mercedes-Benz EQ?
On the EQE, EQS, EQE SUV and EQS SUV it runs to ten years or 155,000 miles. On the EQB, CLA250, CLA350 and G580 it runs to eight years or 100,000 miles.
