What should you know before buying a Mercedes-Benz in Orlando?

1. How does your Orlando commute shape the right model?

How you driveWhat suits itWhat you gain
I-4 into downtown most morningsC-Class, E-Class, GLC 300A quiet cabin and driver assistance in stop-and-start traffic
The 408 or 417 to Lake Nona, Clermont or Winter GardenE-Class, GLC 300, GLEA settled ride at 70 mph
School runs and a Millenia parking deckGLA, GLB, GLC 300A shorter car for tight decks and short ramps
Seven seats for visiting familyGLS 450Three rows, so family travel with you in comfort
A trade, a job site or a camper buildSprinter, Work VansA dedicated Sprinter manager and Sprinter service advisor

Our clients' drives fall into a few patterns. Some take I-4 into downtown every morning. Others run the 408 or the 417 toward Lake Nona or Winter Garden and add highway miles quickly.

The pattern decides the model. A GLC 300 suits the back roads around Conway. For three children and a stroller on a Saturday in Kissimmee, the GLE or the GLS gives the whole family room.

Tell your product specialist about your week, and we match your Mercedes-Benz to it.

If you are new to Central Florida, tell us. A vehicle that lives outside in the Orlando sun is chosen and cared for differently from one that lived in a garage up north.

Sprinter and Work VansTrades, fleets and camper buildsCommercial vans, with upfit information

Our new inventory includes the GLC 300 and the other SUVs in the table.

Sedans suit a particular driver here. On an I-4 commute twice a day, the lower body and the quieter cabin of a C-Class or an E-Class are what you will value most.

For two doors, the CLE Coupe is in our new inventory, and our pre-owned listing carries E-Class Cabriolets for roof-down Florida mornings.

The GLC 300 is 185.7 inches long and the GLE is 193.8 inches, so you can check either against your own garage before you choose.

3. Which pre-owned buys are best, and what does certified add?

RoadsideIncluded with warranty coverageA jump-start, a tire change or an empty tank

Every certified Mercedes-Benz has been serviced according to schedule and comes with a CARFAX Vehicle History Report.

In Florida, the battery replacement date in that report is worth a close look, because heat is the number one cause of battery failure.

On every certified Mercedes-Benz, all recall campaigns are performed before it is ready for the road.

A vehicle outside the certified age or mileage window is sold as pre-owned.

4. Do you run a Sprinter or a work van?

Your cargo vanPayloadCargo space and towing

4500, high roof, 170-inch wheelbase6,382 lbs430 cu ft, towing 7,500 lbs

Central Florida runs on vans, and our dealership has a Sprinter manager, a Sprinter service advisor and a work-van hub with custom upfitting.

We match a van on payload and roof height first, then towing. Once we know the loaded weight of your racks, your tools and your crew, we compare it against the payload figure for the exact configuration. AWD and the longer wheelbases reduce payload.

For towing, the tow rating is the last figure we look at. We take the tongue weight of your loaded trailer and subtract it from the payload, with the crew and the equipment already in the van. Florida requires brakes on all wheels of a trailer whose gross weight is over 3,000 pounds.

Your electric Mercedes-BenzBattery limited warrantyWhat it means for you

EQB, CLA250, CLA350, G5808 years/100,000 milesWhichever occurs first.

Home charging decides most of it. If you park in a driveway or a garage in Dr. Phillips, Baldwin Park or Hunter's Creek, a licensed electrician can install a Level 2 charger. With one in place, an electric Mercedes-Benz is easy to live with here.

Parking on the street or in an apartment deck near Millenia with no assigned plug? A charger installed by your property owner or a nearby public charger does the job, and our sales team talks you through it.

To look after the battery, keep it between 20 and 80 percent charged most days and away from extreme heat where you can.

On the go, Level 3 fast chargers at commercial locations add about 60 to 80 miles of range in about 20 minutes.

If you are moving to Central Florida, arrange insurance first. Florida requires proof of personal injury protection and property damage liability before a four-wheel vehicle can be registered.

For a nonresident purchase, the notarized Form DR-123 is completed at the time of sale.

Orlando International is a short drive from us, and a complimentary airport shuttle is one of our VIP services.

On weekdays, our service department opens at 7:30 in the morning and stays open until 8 in the evening. It is open on Saturday and Sunday too. Shift work at the airport, a hotel on International Drive or a hospital still leaves time either side to drop off and pick up your vehicle.

Mobile service brings selected routine maintenance to your home or workplace around Orlando. Work that needs a lift or advanced diagnostic equipment is done here, and we confirm which applies when you schedule.

Loaner cars go to VIP customers on repairs taking longer than three hours.

Dealership rentals stay within Florida, which covers a drive down to the Keys.

10. What does Florida weather do to your vehicle?

Florida weatherWhat it bringsWhat looks after it
Summer heatThe number one cause of battery failureBattery testing and replacement, here or through mobile service
Afternoon stormsStanding water on I-4 and the 408, where worn tread hydroplanesSlow down until the water clears

Lovebug season, in May and SeptemberTwo flights a year that etch paint if left for daysA good wash soon after you meet a swarm
Hurricane seasonNamed storms, June 1 through November 30A tank above half, and photographs for your insurer before the storm

In Orlando, heat is the number one cause of battery failure and reduced battery life, so a battery here deserves attention in every season.

The Mercedes-Benz service schedule keeps ahead of it. Service A falls at about 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. Service B follows at about 20,000 miles or one year after the previous service.

In a summer downpour, aquaplaning is the risk. Your tires lose contact with the road when water builds up, so slow down until it clears.

If your vehicle takes flood water, leave it unstarted. With Roadside Assistance, the tow to our service center for the repair is covered.

How big a down payment should I make?

That is yours to choose, and our financing team helps you find the loan or lease that suits it.

I owe more than my car is worth. What now?

The difference can be rolled into your new financing. The disclosures you receive before you sign show how it is handled. A certified Mercedes-Benz or a different term are also options to weigh.

On a lease through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, the Gap Waiver protects you if the vehicle is declared a total loss. It covers the difference between the insurance proceeds and the balance owed, less any deductible.

What should I bring for a trade appraisal?

Your receipts and service records show the care your vehicle has had, and they support its value at trade-in.

My car has hurricane or flood history. Can I still trade it?

Yes. Tell us its history when you bring it in, and we appraise it at an accurate market value.

Buying new

Which Mercedes-Benz SUVs suit an Orlando garage?

The GLA, GLB and GLC 300 all suit most garages. The GLC 300 seats five and is 185.7 inches long, and the GLA and GLB are shorter still.

Do you have a convertible for Florida?

Our pre-owned listing carries E-Class Cabriolet models for roof-down Florida mornings.

Can I see a car on video before I drive down?

Yes. Our certified listings carry a 360-degree walkaround, and every listing carries photographs of the vehicle.

Pre-owned and certified

What makes a Mercedes-Benz certified pre-owned?

It must be six years old or newer with under 75,000 miles. It must pass the 165+ point inspection on gas-engine cars and come with a CARFAX vehicle history report. Electric certified cars are inspected against a different list.

How long is the certified warranty?

You get the balance of the original 4-year/50,000-mile new-vehicle warranty, then a further 12 months with unlimited miles. An extended limited warranty can add up to two more years, also unlimited miles.

What if I change my mind about a certified car?

You can exchange it for another model within the first seven days or 500 miles, whichever comes first. That is a Mercedes-Benz certified program term.

Does certified cover me on a long trip?

Roadside assistance is included with the warranty coverage. Trip interruption covers you more than 100 miles from home. It reimburses travel expenses up to $300 per day for three days.

Which pre-owned Mercedes-Benz models are the best buys on your lot?

Our service department is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How long does Express Service take?

Express Service takes about an hour or less. It includes a 37-point inspection covering the major components of your Mercedes-Benz. It is available with or without an appointment.

When is Service A and Service B due?

Service A falls at approximately 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, then approximately every 20,000 miles or two years. Service B falls at approximately 20,000 miles or one year after the previous service.

Can you come to my house or office?

For routine work, yes. Mobile service brings selected routine maintenance to your home, workplace or another approved location around Orlando. Work that needs a lift or advanced diagnostic equipment is done here, and we confirm which applies when you schedule.

Can I get a loaner car?

As a VIP client, you have a loaner when a repair takes longer than three hours. VIP means you bought your vehicle from us and it is still under warranty.

For the loaner, we ask for a valid US driver's license and your insurance declaration page. You confirm with your insurer that your policy gives full coverage for the loaner. A $250 authorization is taken on a major credit card, and the driver must be 21 or older.

Rentals are available too and have their own age and insurance conditions.

Can I take a dealership rental out of state?

Yes. Our VIP program includes an airport drop-off service, so you can leave your Mercedes-Benz with us and have the work done while you are away. Orlando International is close by.

How often should I replace a battery in Orlando?

In Orlando, a battery is due sooner than in a cooler climate. Heat is the number one cause of battery failure and reduced battery life. Battery testing and replacement are on our service menu and part of our mobile service.

Electric

How long is the battery covered on an electric Mercedes?

For EQE, EQS, EQE SUV and EQS SUV the battery limited warranty is 10 years or 155,000 miles, whichever occurs first. For the EQB, CLA250, CLA350 and G580 it is 8 years or 100,000 miles.

Does Florida heat hurt an EV battery?

Heat is the thing to manage. Keep the battery between 20 and 80 percent charged most days and away from extremely hot temperatures, so shade helps wherever you park.

Do I need a home charger?

A home charger is what makes an EQ easy to live with. With a driveway or garage, a Level 2 charger installed by a licensed electrician makes charging simple. Parking on the street or in a deck with no assigned plug? Your property owner or a nearby public charger fills the gap. Our sales team talks you through it.

Are electric certified cars inspected the same way?

Electric certified cars have their own inspection. The 165+ point inspection applies to certified vehicles with internal combustion engines, and different inspection points apply for electric vehicles.

Vans and Sprinter

Do you sell Sprinter vans, or only service them?

We do both. We stock Sprinters and handle upfits, and our team includes a Sprinter manager and a Sprinter service advisor. Vans are a real part of what we do here.

How much can a Sprinter Cargo Van tow?

The 2026 Sprinter Cargo Van is rated to tow 5,000 lbs in 2500 configurations and 7,500 lbs in most 3500, 3500XD and 4500 configurations. Ratings vary by configuration, so we work from the exact van's own figure.

Should I buy on tow rating or payload?

We start with payload. We add up your racks, tools, crew and fuel, then check that against the payload for that exact configuration. AWD and longer wheelbases reduce payload, sometimes by several hundred pounds.

How do I work out whether I can tow my trailer?

We subtract the tongue weight of your loaded trailer from your remaining payload, along with everything already in the van. The tow rating is the last figure we look at.

Can you service an RV built on a Sprinter chassis?

Yes. A Sprinter-chassis RV is a Sprinter, and our service department has a dedicated Sprinter service advisor.

About the dealership

What is your Google rating?

We hold a 4.4 rating from more than 7,000 Google reviews at the time of writing, and they are there for you to read.

Which languages does your team speak?

Our team members speak multiple languages, including Spanish, French and Haitian Creole alongside English. That way, every guest is understood from the moment they arrive.

What is the VIP program?

It is our program for clients who bought their Mercedes-Benz here. It brings you a loaner during warranty repairs, the airport drop-off service and other member benefits.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve Orlando first, then Clermont, Winter Garden, St. Cloud and Kissimmee. We also welcome buyers from out of state, who pay by wire or finance through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.

Visiting

Where exactly are you?

We are at 4301 Millenia Blvd, Orlando, FL 32839, next to The Mall at Millenia and off I-4. Work is underway at the property, so please follow the posted signs for the best route in.

Do I need an appointment?

You are welcome without one. Schedule a test drive online, and our team sets it up for you.

I am flying into Orlando to pick up a car. Can you help?

Yes. Orlando International is about 19 minutes from our dealership, so tell us your arrival when you confirm the purchase.

How do I contact you without calling?

Use the contact form on our site or book service online. You can also text us. Enter your mobile number on our site, and someone from our dealership responds with a text right away.

People also ask

Is owning a Mercedes-Benz worth it?

For our Orlando owners, yes, with the maintenance planned in from the start.

Service A falls around 10,000 miles or a year, and Service B around 20,000 miles. In Florida, heat is the number one cause of battery failure, so the battery deserves attention at every visit.

Do I need 4MATIC in Florida?

4MATIC is Mercedes-Benz all-wheel drive. It is standard on some models and optional on others, so the first thing we check is whether the model you are looking at has it.

4MATIC maximizes traction by engaging all four wheels, which you feel pulling onto I-4 in an afternoon downpour.

With your drive in mind, we show you which vehicles in our inventory have it and whether it suits the way you drive.

Where is the best place to buy a car in Florida?

We appraise your trade at an accurate market value, and our service department is open seven days a week.

Our Google reviews name the same advisors and product specialists again and again, and they are there for you to read.

What are the best Mercedes dealerships in Orlando?

We hold a 4.4 rating from more than 7,000 Google reviews, and the same advisors are named in them again and again.

We service Mercedes-AMG models, the EQ range and Sprinter chassis, seven days a week.

What is the best month to buy a Mercedes?

The right month is the one when the Mercedes-Benz you want is in our inventory.

Can you negotiate the price at a Mercedes dealership?

We are glad to talk the figures through with you.

Your trade is appraised at an accurate market value. When you finance, the rate, the term and the total of payments are in writing before you sign.

What is the $3000 rule for cars?

It is a rule of thumb: a repair quoted above roughly $3,000 is worth weighing against replacing the car.

Before any repair, your service advisor explains the recommended work and gives you the detail to make an informed decision.

In our clients' words

You are buying your first Mercedes-Benz

Our team takes the time to understand your needs, preferences and lifestyle, from your first visit through years of ownership.

Evan was great working with our daughter Meg and helping her to select the car that was right for her. It turned out to be the same model, GLC 300 but an upgrade to a 2024. Answered all her questions and made sure she was comfortable with the car and how it drove. Felipe did the car review and delivery and was also excellent. Could not have been more pleased.

Amir is the best! He has been my advisor for a few years now and I love working with him. He always goes above and beyond for me and I appreciate the thoughtfulness. If you ever need to get your car serviced, he is the guy!

What that means

  • Specifications and certified terms are the manufacturer's own; VIP, loaner and service terms are our dealership's.
  • Customer quotes are real Google reviews, each linked to the review.
